In a world’s first, tuning specialist Zyrus Engineering, Norway, launched its upcoming ultra lightweight Carbon Fiber transporter, featuring an exposed blue tint all carbon body, at the Oslo Motor Show.
ZMOVER is the lightest and most innovative transporter to come to market, the ultimate solution for securely and stylishly transporting your cherished supercars, with capacity to effortlessly move large SUVs and electric vehicles with ease.
The ZMOVER has a kerb weight of only 900 kg, the maximum weight of a transported car is 2,600kg with a max gross capacity of 3,500 kg. The shell features a sleek and aerodynamic, three-axle, duck-tail design, all constructed in-house. The width of the loading bay is 2.32 metres, height is 2.12 metres, and bed length is 6 metres.
Zyrus Engineering’s CEO Radni Molhampour explains the significance of the all-new ZMOVER:
“I came up with the idea of the ZMOVER back in 2022, when I realised that there was no lightweight enclosed car transporter on the market for the new era of electric cars, which mostly are on the heavier side. The ZMOVER is far ahead of the competition, and ready for 2030 and beyond.
“ZMOVER can move vehicles up to 2.6 tons in weight, customers have full control of the transporter via the interior touch control panel and our unique smartphone app. It has electric tilt and winch, electric rear loading ramps, suitable for very low vehicles and wide side doors measuring 3.10 x 1.78 metres for easy access, tyre pressure monitors, GPS tracking, a secure odometer, and it has the widest light openings on the market. With its own ECU, you can monitor everything from an app on your smart phone. We use ‘Situne’ Smart Dash technology, and have three tracking devices forged into the build, using long-lasting batteries ensures the transporter can be tracked for several years.”
The ZMOVER is airtight and fuel efficient, with a stainless-steel ladder-frame chassis, the floor features a honeycomb aluminium composite design combining strength with agility.
There are currently 11 pre-orders taken for the new ZMOVER and by year end the first three transporters will be complete, with full production upto 24 units produced in 2026, with the capacity of building 48 annually by 2027.
The standard version of ZMOVER features a matt exposed carbon fibre body as standard that can be finished in any colour or carbon colour-tint the customer desires, thereby perfectly complementing the customer’s vehicles, whether it be a treasured supercar, historic and prestige high value cars, track or race cars.
“Each transporter is bespoke, built to order, and customers can customise the ZMOVER in any colour of their choice. Prices are subject to change, but expected to be €65,000, plus taxes. Colour or tinted exposed carbon fiber has an additional cost of €25,000, on top of the base price,” explains Molhampour.
