Zyrus Stimolante LP1020 completes first laps at Nürburgring Nordschleife

June 6th 2024 – Germany – Five intense days of prep and testing concluded with 2 days at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, during a private track day event hosted by Gran Turismo Events. Over 100 supercars took to the track during the 2 day event, with the new Stimolante LP1020 proudly on show to the driving club. Fredrik Sørlie took to the wheel as the Zyrus Nurburgring specialist development driver, before further set up and adjustments were made at local performance suspension experts Bilstein.

The Nürburgring Nordshcleif (North Loop) is considered one of the worlds most demanding tracks, it is 20.830 km (12.943 mi) long and contains more than 300 metres (1,000 feet) of elevation change from its lowest to highest points, it is the ultimate challenge for drivers and machinery. It is considered the benchmark by most auto manufacturers to measure a cars performance.

“Now this crucial test is complete for our new LP1020 Stimolante, we are closer to our NUR spec version. The Stimolante is highly modified Twin Turbo trackday car with proven reliability and is fully road legal, approved by KÜS Technik GmbH. With over 500km complete over this event, we now have a lot of data to analyse and we are looking forward to the next development stage”, commented CEO, Radni Molhampour.
