New road legal ZYRUS LP1200 Strada revealed

After reaching a 2 year milestone of rigorous testing so far with ZYRUS LP1200 and over 10,000 km of on track action, ZYRUS Engineering has released LP1200 variants available from 2021, with an exciting new road legal ‘Strada’ version.
The ZYRUS LP1200 journey was bold, to build high-performance track cars that can be driven on the road to the track by its customers, and that’s exactly what has been achieved with the ZYRUS LP1200 variants.
By offering this new LP1200 Strada ‘road legal option’ these cars can be driven on the road, and allow the driver to select horsepower modes at the touch of a button. The ZYRUS LP1200’s aim to be the ultimate track day cars, offered in limited production to customers worldwide. Both models benefit from the bespoke ZYRUS ‘twin-turbo’ engineering, and now with another unique design focused more on the comfort and aesthetics of a Lamborghini Huracán, but retains the 1200HP performance and extreme aero package. Both versions are designed, developed and hand built in Norway and tuned for performance and track reliability.
The all new ZYRUS LP1200 Strada is the second build version and based on the Lamborghini Huracán EVO RWD. Fully rebuilt by hand with over 600 parts changed. This is the ultimate road car that can be driven ontrack like a race car.
To meet road vehicle specifications this version has available 900hp on the road, and at the touch of a button can be increased up to 1200hp. Through the unique electronic Smart Dash control system, customers control the HP options via a smartphone app. The weight, at 1427kg, is a fully road legal car with all the standard safety maintained, with 2010kg downforce at 200 kmph.
The R spec track only version, ZYRUS LP1200 R is based on the Lamborghini LP 640-2 Super Trofeo, the car has been fully rebuilt and re-imagined in full carbon again with over 600 parts changed, this model is performance focused for the racetrack with a bespoke aero package and unique wing. At 1200 hp, 1200 kg wet weight and 2142 kg of downforce at 200kph, It has proven to be both super-fast and reliable with over 6000 km complete to date, on legendary race tracks such as Spa-Francorchamps, Nürburgring, Yas Marina Abu Dhabi and Dubai Autodrome. Additionally, the car also campaigned a full race season in the Norwegian Extreme GT Championship, taking overall title in September.
